Verizon announced a slew of new markets to be added to their already massive LTE network starting June 21st.  Verizon claims that 2/3 of the US population are now covered by LTE service.  The new markets include:

  • Sharon, PA
  • Bedford, PA
  • Burlington, NC
  • Jacksonville, NC
  • New Bern, NC
  • Gillette, WY

Verizon also announced future expansions in some already existing markets:

  • In North Carolina the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill area (“The Triangle”, for you locals)
  • Areas of Colorado including Boulder and Ft. Collins areas
  • The vicinity of Indiana, PA
  • Portions of Florida including Panama City and Palm Beach
